Market Festival @ Beech Cumberland
So yesterday (May 30) my little sister Morgan and me set out on an adventure. My first booth since July 3, 2008! We went to Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church for their annual Market Festival. We got there just after 7am to set up and didn't get back home until after 4:30! Wow, what a day! But God blessed us with great weather, smiling faces, and some business. We weren't "busy busy" but had enough sales to make the day worthwhile.........
Of course while I was away from my little man (the first day I have left him for longer than an hour or two!) he decided to roll over for the FIRST TIME! I missed it! He hasn't done it since, but still I was a wee bit disappointed! Ahh....those are the breaks huh? But anyhow, here's some pics of our lovely set up. We had a great looking booth with some good looking merchandise to sell!

A RaINy DaY KiNd of CrAFt!
It's raining outside......I am stuck in here with 2 kiddo's. A newborn and a toddler. My newborn could careless if we are inside, outside or upside down.......as long as he is dry and fed, he's happy. Maekayla on the other hand.....NOT so easy to please! My head says "put in a movie, pop some popcorn and we can just chill"......my momma gut says that is not productive nor educational or imagination provoking. SO I got on the internet and cruised for something fun for us to do together.......here's what I found!!!!
Cook them in the oven on about 200 degrees for about 30 minutes or so. You want them to turn liquid BUT do not mix them up or shake them up. This will hurt the swirling of the various colors.
Allow them to completely cool and turn the pan upside down. If they are stuck, simply bang on the bottom of the pan and they should release. Otherwise use a small paring knife to release the edges.
Cupcake Tin Crayons!
First, you need broken (would've thrown away crayons) or just break up some crayons. Since I am pretty anal about going through our crayon stash regularly, we didn't have too many broken ones, Mae just won't use them once they break! LOL!
Spray a muffin tin with some cooking spray.....lightly. I even took a paper towel and wiped them out a little to make sure there was no excess.
Then start filling up the tins (1/2 to 3/4 way full) with like colored crayon pieces. We even mixed a few for special effect! ie.....orange and red with hints of white

Whaa-laa......really cool crayons to color with for the afternoon! The swirl ones, color funky too!!! We loved this and are planning on doing it again, SOON! These would make a fun playdate activity, birthday favors, you could use pans with mold shapes........the possibitlies are endless!

Happy Mother's Day!
I love this little dude!
My beautiful family!
Logan and his godparents.....
Logan and his godparents.....
Mom loved her new gardening hat Maekayla gave her!
For Mother's Day, we all went to mom's house after church for some lunch! We had some great food (Thanks for the ribs Don!), some good laughs and got some fabulous pics of the day! I think I love mother's day more and more.......I always loved my mom and knew she loved me. However, I NEVER could've imagined how deep that love really is......until I myself became a mother! I know that my calling in life is to be a MOM! It's the greatest job I have ever had, and I feel so blessed that God has entrusted me with 2 of His perfect children!
